Daily Routine

Predictability allows children to feel secure and develop a sense of wellbeing and belonging at preschool and in their wider world.  Freedom allows children to develop their abilities to direct their own learning and develop creativity and curiosity.

We enjoy large group mat times and meal times together each day.  All meals are provided by the preschool.   In between, children choose to participate in the variety of experiences teachers provide each day.  We often go on excursions out and about in the community.  Care routines for toileting, sleep, and personal needs are provided by teachers and teacher aids in a respectful, responsive manner with the view to developing children’s ability to care for themselves.
